Diligence Macau Limited

Norman Mackillop - Chief Executive, founded Diligence Macau in February 2018, after decades developing probity and compliance systems for corporations and government regulators, building on his unique and varied experience as a police officer, Barrister at Law, in-house legal advisor and specialist in corporate investigations for the casino industry. 

Norman first entered the gaming industry as Senior Inspector and Legal advisor to the Alderney Gambling Control Commission, Norman advised on drafting laws and regulations for the fledging Internet Gaming industry, and conducted pre-licensing international investigations and audits of whitelisted Internet Gaming sites.

As Director of Investigations for Venetian Macau, Norman built a team which is now considered a model for conducting pre-employment investigations, corporate due diligence and compliance related internal investigations. 

As Managing Director of Spectrum Gaming (Macau), Norman was engaged in international pre-licensing investigations on behalf of US government regulators and private clients in the USA, Japan, Macau and UK.  He conducted research and gathered intelligence on the ground for the Macau chapter of the first comprehensive study into the casino junket industry. Norman led a team engaged in conducting probity investigations into applicants for junket licenses to operate in Singapore (for the Singapore Casino Regulatory Authority).

As Assistant Vice President, Norman developed and led the Corporate Investigations Department at Galaxy Entertainment Group in Macau, regarded as the finest in the industry.

In January 2018, after decades developing probity and compliance systems for Corporations and government regulators it was time for Norman to branch out and form Diligence Macau Limited to provide his expertise from an independent third party perspective.
